These Terms and Conditions govern your use of BackupOnCall ("we," "our," or "us"), an AI-powered call answering service. By signing up for or using BackupOnCall, you agree to these terms.
Program Description
BackupOnCall is an AI-powered answering service that answers inbound calls on behalf of businesses, collects caller information, and delivers summaries and notifications to the business client. The service may also send SMS messages to business clients and, with caller consent, to callers requesting appointment booking links.
SMS Messaging Terms
Program name: BackupOnCall
Message types: Transactional notifications including real-time missed call alerts to business clients, and optional booking links to callers who have provided verbal consent during a call.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on call volume. Business clients receive one SMS per incoming call. Callers receive a single message only when they have opted in verbally during a call.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates apply to all SMS messages sent and received.
To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent. For help, reply HELP or contact us at john@backuponcall.com.
Eligibility and Account
BackupOnCall is intended for use by businesses and professional service providers. By signing up, you represent that you are authorized to receive calls and messages on behalf of your business.
Subscription and Billing
BackupOnCall is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. There are no long-term contracts. You may cancel at any time.
A 7-day money-back guarantee applies to your first month. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the initial purchase.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use BackupOnCall for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service complies with all applicable telecommunications and privacy laws.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service outages or interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of BackupOnCall. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of BackupOnCall after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
